Sharon was born in New Jersey to Holocaust Survivor parents and raised in Los Angeles, graduating from UCLA with a degree in Communications. Her father left Romania in 1938 bound for Nicaragua, ultimately emigrating to Canada. Her mother was deported to Auschwitz from her hometown of Munkácz in Czechoslovakia, now Ukraine, and emigrated to the U.S. after the War. Their stories impacted her upbringing and life experiences. An entertainment publicist by profession, she has travelled extensively, conducted interviews of Survivors for the Shoah Foundation and was part of the 2023 HMLA delegation to the March of the Living.
