Shoah Legacy Writers Group – A Second Generation Experience
In the days leading up to Rosh Hashanah, September 2023, a period steeped in reflection, the Shoah Legacy Writers Group held its inaugural event at the Holocaust Museum Los Angeles. The event was moderated by the renowned Holocaust scholar, Dr. Michael Berenbaum. Michele Gold, the group’s founder and Honorary Director of HMLA, was joined by six of the group’s writers who shared their stories. In this way, we keep the memory of our parents alive. Our Shoah Legacy Writers Group presenters were: Eli Eldan, Michele Gold, Deena Goodman, Mel Greenspan, FernTopas Salka, Paul Schneider, and Priscilla Schneider.
