On December 7, 2025, Michele Gold, the founder of the Shoah Legacy Writers Group, and Mark G. Bamberger, MD, one of its members, presented their family stories, “From Kristallnacht to the Kindertransport” at the Tolerance Education Center in Rancho Mirage, California.  Michele and Mark have the common bond of having parents born in Leipzig, Germany.  With the recollections, photos and historical documents passed on to them by their parents, they told the personal stories relating to Germany in the 1930’s. The presentation was followed by an animated discussion and comments by the audience, which included Holocaust survivors.
