Eighty years after the Shoah, Second Generation descendants of Holocaust Survivors, members of Shoah Legacy Writers Group, read stories about their parents’ liberation and its profound impact on their families’ lives. The Second Generation was born out of an intense desire to rebuild families, and thus regain a semblance of meaning for the lives of Survivors.
After a powerful introduction by Paul Schneider, four members of Shoah Legacy Writers Group, Debbie Beckman, Fern Topas Salka, Priscilla Schneider, and Sharon Weisz read their stories to a packed room at the Holocaust Museum Los Angeles.
